What happens when an old creamery closes and opens a bar instead? There are two options: to crash with the above or to attempt to maintain the essence of the old local in decoration. The last case is the Mantequería’s, a tapas bar in the area of Plaza de España.
I recommend this place for an afternoon coffee to talk quietly with your companion, take a wine or a beer after work and snack (typical “salmorejo”, “tostas” and “quiches”) and finally for the Sunday brunch.
Its light, shelves filled with books and ornaments and environment in general will make you fell at home.
Remember, if there is no seat above, they have enabled the basement as restaurant.
